At the IDW Foundation, we believe that true empowerment includes honoring those who serve as pillars of strength, collaboration, and faith in our community. Recognition is not just about celebration — it is about shining a light on the women and supporters whose dedication inspires others to live boldly in God’s purpose.
In our first years, we joyfully acknowledged essential volunteers and steadfast supporters whose quiet commitment helped lay the foundation for our mission. These early recognitions celebrated the hearts that motivated growth, fostered sisterhood, and advanced our scholarship and empowerment programs.
This year, as we celebrate our 3rd Annual Fundraising Gala, we proudly establish a lasting legacy with the inaugural presentation of the Golden Weaver Award.

The Golden Weaver Award

While small in stature, the Weaver Ant is one of the most powerful forces in the natural world — not because of its individual strength, but because of its remarkable ability to link with others. These tiny creatures form living chains to bridge gaps and pull leaves together, creating secure homes for their entire colony. They beautifully remind us that we are far stronger together than we could ever be alone.
The Golden Weaver Award honors individuals and organizations that embody this same spirit of unity, resilience, and collaborative impact — weaving together resources, advocacy, and sisterhood to strengthen the women in our community.
Inaugural Recipient (2026): Three County Women Veterans
